Air Show Adds an Additional Event

Coming up on October 3rd and 4th the third annual Owensboro Air Show will be here.  The events are thrilling!  The air show will be featuring the U.S. Army Golden Knights showcasing their skydiving talents and now there are more things being added to the slate.

"We're excited that we'll be able to provide a hisotry of aviation with aircraft on display from World War II through the modern era."  Words from Tim Ross who went on to say that "You'll be able to see these aircraft up close Friday night at the airport and then watch them perform Saturday."

The city has added a Friday night even at the Owensboro Daviess County Regional Airport to get people ready for the big show on Saturday afternoon.

The Friday night show will be open to the public at 4p.m. and the performances will start at 6:30.  All followed by a firework show that starts around 7:45.  Admission is only $2.00 and kids 10 and under will get in free.  Should be a great show!!
