The Luck of the Germans

I read a story about a guy that apparently had a little bit of a gambling problem and had a little bit of money that hadn't been paid off.

Story from Germany about a guy that was at a casino gambling away his cash when the police showed up to arrest him for the unpaid fees that he had racked up at the casino.  This is one of those painted picture moments.  This guy is about broke on this machine he is playing on.  The police realize he is here and go inside, find him and tell him that he is going to jail and right when they do that he hits the jackpot, pays off his fees and that's the end of that.  He was $910 in the hole and won $1,270.  He didn't have to go to jail.
