Audubon Metals LLC will expand its plant in Henderson and that will lead to the creation of 39 full-time jobs.

According to a news release out of Frankfort, Governor Matt Bevin made the announcement today regarding the more than $8 million investment and said that the expansion is another illustration of the strength of Kentucky's aluminum industry.

Diecasting companies all over the Midwest use the ingots produced at Audubon in the production of automotive parts, appliances, small-engine components, as well as lighting and metering equipment.

The Audubon expansion will mean the construction of a nearly 21,000 square foot addition to its existing facility.
