I was born in Jackson, TN, but grew up Milan, TN and Mayfield, KY. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the stage. I started singing in public at the age of six at the First Baptist Church in Milan. When I got my first solo, my Mom said, “I didn’t even know she liked to sing!” Ha! I've been blessed to perform on many stages in my life and have even opened for Jake Owen, Eric Church, Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry and more. One of the coolest things I've been able to do is to sing (in Latin!) at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Such a beautiful place and an unforgettable experience. I am a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a lifelong member of Kappa Delta sorority. As most of you know, I'm s HUGE sports fan! I even worked with the WKU men’s basketball team for 3 ½ years while at Western. Being that I grew up in Tennessee, I'm a Vols fan and a Titans girl! After living in Owensboro for only two weeks, I met Chad. (I knew no one, so I wasn't picky, ha!) We, obviously became instant friends and he convinced me to work here at WBKR. I started here on The Morning Show with Chad and Moon, but after my sweet and sassy Carsyn was born, early mornings just weren't going to cut it! I love the Midday Show and talking with y'all day after day. As you know, my Carsyn is my world and I appreciate y'all letting my go on and on about her! I LOVE country music... from Waylon to the Randy Rogers Band, my baby-daddy Luke and the Florida Georgia Line! Being a part of our community thru WBKR is my favorite part of my job! Y'all are the best listeners ever!

Kentucky Oaks: Men In Pink [VIDEO]
On the media shuttle this morning to Churchill Downs, I told Brett "You just never know what you'll see at Derby". The first thing we saw thru the entry gates were five men, dressed head to toe in pink. Pink argyle, a horse fanny pack, glitter shoes and we knew we had to get a closer look at these fellas.
So, here's what we found out... Take a look!
What Moms Really Want For Mother’s Day [VIDEO]
It's time again to shower our Mom's with gifts and remind her of how special she is to us... it's Mother's Day! As a Mom, I never really get too caught up on what my six year-old is going to surprise me with. As long as I get to spend time with her, that's a gift enough for me.
But... If there were a wish list of what us Mom's really want for Mother's Day, I think we would all agree on these five

Sad, Lost Dog Looking For Her Home [PHOTOS]
A friend of mine found this sweet little dog yesterday and is having a harm time finding her home. They have tried posting pictures on Facebook and even had her checked for a microchip, but haven't had any luck yet. He says she is a really good dog that has been taken care of. They found her in the Owensboro Christian Church area and would love to help her reunite with her family.

The Lost Art Of Handwritten Notes [VIDEO]
If you know me, you know I love my football. High school, college, pros, it doesn't matter to me, as long as there's something going down on the gridiron. So, naturally, I follow a lot of people in the sports world on social media. One of those people is Texas Tech Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury. Sure, he is painfully handsome and seems like the coolest guy ever, but he's pretty much an offensive mast
