Banning Texting While Driving in Kentucky

You've seem it many times before: you're driving down the Pennyrile or Frederica and you get cut off by someone either talking or texting on their cell phone. Let's face it, it's infuriating to say the least and with roads right now sometimes treacherous because the weather it is downright dangerous. Regardless of the time of the year, texting while driving (in my opinion) is a pretty dangerous task to be undertaking.

Come January 1st, texting while driving in Kentucky will become an offense with a fine attached to it. According to the Courier Press:

After January 1, violators will be liable for fines of $25 on a first offense and $50 on each subsequent offense, plus court costs.
