Beaver Dam has earned a very important ranking. Consumer Affairs has named it the safest city in Kentucky.

The site ranks Beaver Dam's burglary odds at 1:3566 and the burglary rate has dropped nearly 67 percent. Two other Western Kentucky cities also ranked in the top 5, Greenville at number 3 with Central City at number 4.
