Beech Bend Plans on a June 29th Opening Day
It's summertime and we're all craving EVERYTHING summer has to offer. We're also wondering when our favorite attractions will open for the season, since they've all been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yeah, we've had our eyes on summertime for three months, now, and have been very curious how it would all pan out.
Holiday World & Splashin' Safari and Kentucky Kingdom are good to go and, soon, Beech Bend Park will be, too.
Bowling Green's iconic attraction, and one that's been there for as long as I can remember, has set an opening date for Monday, June 29th, according to WBKO/Bowling Green, even though the park's Facebook page is still using the word "tentatively."
While Beech Bend says that guests and team members will be required to practice safe social distancing, its complete list of safety guidelines is currently under review by the governor's office.
The park hopes patrons will understand the necessity of longer-than-usual wait times when attending attractions, purchasing refreshments and tickets, and checking in at canopies and cabanas.
Summertime is here and what is arguably Bowling Green's most popular attraction is eager for the 2020 season to begin.
