Billboards in Nashville to Display Active Tornado Warnings
This idea is not only neat but potentially lifesaving. A digital billboard company in Nashville will begin utilizing its boards to display active tornado warnings.
Here's how it works:
As soon as the NWS, in this case, Nashville sends out a tornado warning to user's cellphones, newscasts, weather radios, the warnings will also go up immediately on the billboards.
The digital billboards will be located at Murfreesboro Road and Pike Avenue and at Lebanon Road and Fesslers Lane.
When the warnings expire, so will the billboard alerts.
There are similar digital billboards for weather warnings in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Do you think this is a good idea? Would it be helpful?
