Birthday Wishes – Evil Dead Remake From 1981

What better way to spend my birthday than watching 'Evil Dead'.  It all started in 1981 when the low budget movie - okay, extremely low budget movie - hit the big screen. 'Evil Dead' is about a group of friends on a trip to a cabin in a wooded area where evil lurks in the shadows, in the cabin and even in the trees.  Now, its back its modernized and ready for the fans.

The first time I saw this movie was back in 2009 with my friend Nate. He told me that this will be the cheesiest, least scary horror film I have ever seen, and he was absolutely right.  However, this movie is prime entertainment because Bruce Campbell killed it (literally) and I'm happy to say that I've seen the original 'Evil Dead' - about 20 times now.

Tonight it all returns, with a re-vamped version. 'Evil Dead' 2013, starring Jane Levy, Jessica Lucas and Shilo Fernandez.  The film will take on the same story line as it did 31 years ago and is aimed to be the best horror film of 2013.
