Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Well, one down, two to go, Hancock County.

Eyewitness News is reporting a confirmed sighting of a black bear in Hancock County.

More specifically, it was REALLY confirmed by Jeffrey Alan Boling:

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife are on it, too. And this shouldn't come as much of a surprise to these folks; they're reporting the recent sighting of a black bear in BRECKENRIDGE COUNTY, too.

They're thinking that's the same bear, but what about one they say has been spotted in Logan and Todd Counties?

One was also seen in Muhlenberg County this summer.

Why is this area suddenly so attractive to bears? And where are they coming from?

We hope to keep you posted.
