Blackford Creek Wins WBKR’s Friday Night Fight [Video]

Last night was the finale of WBKR's Friday Night Fight at Diamond Lake Good Time Theatre.  Eight acts took the stage to compete is a series of "fights".  At the end of the show, there were just two acts left: Blackford Creek from Owensboro and Payton Taylor from Hendersonville, Tennessee.  Here's the moment the winners were announced.

Blackford Creek won a $1000 shopping spree from Gordy's Owensboro Music and will now get to open for LOCASH on August 24th when the country music duo comes to downtown Owensboro to headline Friday After 5.  In a surprise announcement, Payton Taylor has been invited to open for Blackford Creek the same night!

Also, a big congratulations to our other finalists, who all poured their hearts out on stage Saturday evening at Diamond Lake: Marty Brown, Adam Scott, Julia Capogrossi, C.J. Sparks, Ariel Ramsey and Courtney Peveler.
