Brett Has It Easy- Mothers Day and Mothers Birthday Are Six Days Apart

May is Mothers Day Month meaning I have to buy Mom something nice that she might use from time to time or even day to day. May is also her birthday month so I'm quite fortunate.  Also the dates are only 6 days apart.  She deserves something nice for putting up with me for a whole year and not getting a gift.

I take advantage of the month of May and there is a type of formula that you have to abide by so your mom is happy and your wallet isn't as empty as it would be if birthday and Mothers Day were in different months.

Birthday Gift = Mothers Day Gift  IF  Mothers Day/Birthday are within 10 days of each other.

Mothers Day should come first though I think.  Another reason why i'm so fortunate.  See, Mothers Day comes first and Moms Birthday is second in the month.  I think I would feel bad if her birthday was first and then Mothers Day Came up.

The last reason i'm so fortunate is because I live hours away from home.  When she asks me what i'm going to get her for Mothers Day, all i have to say is- "Its something really great but it's too big to send through the mail so i'll just have to give it to you on your birthday"  CAKE.  Then when I go home next weekend i'll give her the gift and say happy birthday and happy late Mothers Day.  ha!

But the best thing about Mothers Day is seeing her smile.  Happy Mothers Day Mom, I love you and cant wait to see you on your birthday :)
