Yeah, it looks really good. And, you know what?  It is.  We got to try it this week!

On Tuesday, February 1st, Brew Bridge here in Owensboro rolled out brand new BBQ entrees and side orders from their all new "Smokehouse."  Sure, Owensboro is the BBQ Capital of the World, but the guys at Brew Bridge decided it was time to bring some Texas-style BBQ to town. So, they have.

Earlier this week, Angel and I hosted a lunch party with some lucky WBKR listeners who were invited to taste-test the Smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Turkey and side orders for FREE.

Here are some fun photos from the event!

Yes, you should prepare yourself for a barrage of selfies.  LOL!

In fact, my buddy Jeff (top left) and I go all the way back to high school at DCHS.  We took this photo . . .

Jennifer and Pam came over from MPD and loved the food.

My friend Tracy Easler and her mom Belinda came too.  Tracy and I go back to DCHS as well.  There was no shame in her BBQ game.  We certainly are doing the Panthers proud.  LOL!

This young lady was thrilled to join us.  She immediately let me know, when she walked in with the Hudsons, that she has an Uncle Chad!

And here we are with David Haynes (Brew Bridge owner) and Nick Gray (who handles marketing for the restaurant).  Of course, that's Angel and WBKR sales rep Heather Terry!

Thanks to Brew Bridge for teaming up with us to give some folks the chance to be some of the first people to try BBQ from The Smokehouse.
