Carson Kressley Joins Line-Up for the 79th Annual Owensboro Christmas Parade

This is so exciting!  Emmy-winning television star, celebrity stylist and fashion designer Carson Kressley will join us at this year’s parade to support Grand Marshal Florence
Henderson for the 79th annual Owensboro Christmas Parade on Saturday, Nov. 21st!

Carson Kressley was most recently a “fan-favorite” on ABC’s hit television show Dancing With The Stars.  In case you never got to see him in action, check this out!

Carson also recently headlined as the host of Dancing With the Stars Live in Las Vegas.
In addition to TV credits like Dancing with the Stars and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Kressley is a New York Times best-selling author with three books to his credit, including Off the Cuff: The Essential Style Guide for Men- And the Women Who Love Them and the children's book You're Different and That's Super.

When Kressley is not starring on stage or screen, he can be found competing atop one of his American Saddlebred show horses, with which he has achieved World Champion status.  It's his love for for horses that routinely brings him to the tri-state.  He often trains and rides at the world-famous DeLovely Farms Equestrian Training Center based across the river in Rockport, Indiana.

Carson is great friends with parade Grand Marshal Florence Henderson and will be here for the parade as well as a very special guest!

The theme for this year’s 79th Annual Owensboro Christmas Parade is “A Bicentennial Christmas” in honor of Daviess County’s bicentennial celebration. The parade typically features about 120 floats and other entries, making it the longest parade in the area.

The public is invited to join the celebration on the Saturday before Thanksgiving in Downtown Owensboro, “where Kentucky starts Christmas.”  And be sure to catch it on Time Warner Cable Channel 8 as well.  Once again, Dave Spencer, Jane Head and I will be bringing you all the play-by-play as we kick off the Christmas season in downtown Owensboro.
