Celebrating My Favorite Nurse, My Mom, Retired for 25 Years This Year [GALLERY]
Since it's Thank Our Nurses Week and Wednesday is National Nurses Day, I wanted to celebrate my favorite nurse, my mom, Sue Brister.
Mom's been retired from nursing for 25 years. She worked at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital (now Owensboro Health Regional Hospital) for 35 years from 1955-1990. For the last 15 years or so, she was the supervisor of the orthopaedics ward.
