Are These People Really Walking Through a Chicago Crime Scene?
Let me first warn you of the graphic images and language in parts of this live video.
There's a page on Facebook that is specifically dedicated to following the shootings and other senseless violence around Chicago called Chitown Crime Chasers (CCC).
According to the page description, they "chase crime all over Chicago, we bring y'all REAL news and go LIVE." It doesn't matter what time of day it is, in the early morning or late at night, when there's been a report of a shooting or active crime scene, this crew seems to be there within minutes.
When the van was stolen from the Rockford funeral home with a body inside, it was Chitown Crime Chasers that was right next to the crime scene with live video reporting when the body was found in a Chicago neighborhood.
Live video shows damage to businesses and cars in Hyde Park
A live Facebook video from Thursday (2/9) from Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood shows several businesses and vehicles with damage to their windows and windshields.
During the live stream you can hear the producer of the video say there was a report of a shooting in the area and a call about a man with a hammer being in the area but that was not confirmed.
At 8:20 into the live video, the damage to businesses is discovered beginning at Sweetgreen on the corner of S. Harper and E. 53rd Street in Chicago.
About 12:06 into the video you see a police officer walking towards what appears to be a bloody crime scene with a jacket on the street. The officer then walks right past the jacket as another pedestrian stops in her tracks to avoid tracking right through the blood.
You then see several people walk right through it, and then someone rides a rented bicycle over the blood stained sidewalk.
The video producer from Chitown Crime Chasers seems shocked that no crime tape has been placed around the area as he records the scene before walking off.
