25 years ago, gaming company Nintendo released the (personal opinion) BEST handheld gaming device and called it the GameBoy.  Classic behind the toilet or back seat of the car on vacation handheld gaming device.  It has since been upgraded with touch screen technology and 3D graphics and was renamed the DS.

The top of the line GameBoy was not in color, it didn't have rechargeable batteries and the graphics were a little off of the scale of today's.

My Grandmother has the original grey bulky GameBoy and it has some miles on it.  Somehow it still works and it has never had anything but Tetris in the back of it.

They gave an original GameBoy to a group of kids I'm assuming 8 years to 14 years old and they were pretty clueless as to what it even was in the first place but faith in humanity is still alive as some of these kids who will clearly be future gamers knew exactly what it was, knew the history of it and even named off some of the classic games that could be bought for the system.  They have made plenty of videos of these kids seeing rotary phones, old desktop computers and walkmans for the first time and it's hilarious.

Take a look!!

It's heartbreaking but think about what it will be like in 25 years when someone hands a group of kids a PlayStation controller or a touch screen cell phone.  That technology might be phased out by then and everything may be hologram...
