So, the holiday's are here.  Thanksgiving is only days away and then Black Friday strikes upon us in the form of unnecessary shopping for stuff that is only a little cheaper than it would be normally.

Money can be an issue when Christmas comes around, especially when car problems arise or your husband ax's his foot off while getting the tree for the living room.  These are just a couple examples of what can happen that cost money to make right again.

Why not save some money?  These tips are here for you to use and hopefully save some money this holiday season.  Take a peek.

1.  Put some cookie mix in a jar.  Take a mason jar, layer the ingredients inside to make cookies, put a ribbon on it.

2.  Fold some $1 bills into origami shapes.  Then, if you give someone $10, it looks way cooler than just a $10 bill or a check.  Then make a list of what someone could possibly spend $10 dollars.

3.  Make a big batch of homemade cookies.  No one can be totally disappointed by a ton of cookies.

4.  Buy a bunch of lottery scratchers.  I don't understand this one very much but whatever.

5.  Burn a CD mix.  Older relatives and coworkers might still appreciate CD mixes, and it shows that you put some thought into it.  For someone younger, you can put it in a thumb drive.  And for someone even younger, just send them a link on their cell phone.

6.  Make a photo collage from their Instagram photos, or other photos they like.  You can do it online, and have them printed cheaply at a Walgreens.  Photo printing costs have gone way down since there's no real demand anymore.
