Now that prom season is officially in the books, your high school senior, who's likely ready to start thinking about graduating and then heading off to college, may be wondering what do with that prom dress.

Well, Cinderella's Closet in western Kentucky has the answer.  They're telling local moms, "Don't store it! Donate it to us!"

Cinderella's Closet WKY takes those donated garments and turns dresses into dreams. They collect gently-worn prom dresses and use them to help other girls be able to experience prom.  Each year, Cinderella's Closet hosts an event in which they invite girls from local high schools to come shop for a prom dress, shoes and jewelry for the big dance. And this service is specifically targeted to local teens who would not be able to attend prom if Cinderella's Closet was not there to help.

Their motto- "Prom is a great experience for all high school students and no one should have to miss it due to financial concerns."  Cinderella's Closet WKY washes those concerns away.

So, they're looking to YOU to help carry on that magical mission.  If you have a prom dress that you're able to donate to the collection, you are asked to drop it off at Owensboro Christian Church on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9am to Noon.  You're asked to use Entrance D and you will see a prom dress rack off the left-hand side.
