It’s important that fire lanes are clear in case of fire and other emergencies to ensure the access of safety equipment and personnel. The City of Owensboro put a new ordinance in place to help this mission!

Nobody wants to spend time in court or spend money on fines so be sure you're aware of the fire lane ordinance change taking place at the end of the month.

This amendment was impossible to enforce, cumbersome for business owners, and often abused.
