Construction Company Building New International Bluegrass Music Museum Files for Bankruptcy
Owensboro's International Bluegrass Music Museum was set to open in 2018. And it may yet since that's still a year or more away depending on when in 2018 the opening was planned. But now, there's a monkey wrench.
The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer reports that Peyronnin Construction, which is building the new bluegrass music center, has filed for bankruptcy.
Because of that the site has been closed.
The Evansville-based company has also stopped construction on the McLean County Water Treatment Plant, according to a report from 14News WFIE.
