If you take a good look at this abandoned motel in Illinois, I think you would agree that it would make a good location to film a horror movie.

There Are Two Different Kinds Of Abandoned Buildings In Illinois

There are basically two different kinds of abandoned buildings in Illinois. The first type is where the business just closed and everything was left just as is. Someone could buy the place and reopen it in a couple of weeks.

The second style is a complete trainwreck. The place basically looks like it didn't survive spring break. It would make a great location to film a horror movie.

This place would make a great horror movie set. Maybe. there could be an all-star cast and it could be where all the big-time scary movie stars come for vacation. I'm taking Jason, Michael, and Freddy. How freaky would that be?

New Business Plan For This Abandoned Illinois Motel

I believe trying to reopen this motel might be an impossible task. Besides just taking a bulldozer to it, I think the only other idea I have is to turn it into a haunted house. That could be pretty cool if done right.
