We were smart to pay attention to the flash flood watches and warnings that have been issued the last few days.

The water is rising fast in and around Daviess County, and sandbags are being made available.

The high water has naturally led to several road closings, as posted by Daviess County Emergency Management.

If you're a fan of cruising county back roads, you'll likely have to put off getting your fix for a while. I know this county and how its roads are when there's this much water in the picture.

By all means, don't drive through any of this.
