#EatLocal: WBKR Offering FREE Remote Broadcasts to Restaurants in March
Here at Townsquare Media Owensboro/Evansville, we are excited to announce a brand new campaign that celebrates our local restaurants. Late last year, we celebrated local businesses with our #WeLoveLocal initiative. In March, we're turning our attention specifically to local restaurants with our new #EatLocal campaign.
Here at WBKR, we understand the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on local restaurants. Over the last twelve months, they have been closed at times. They've had (and still have) their inside dining capacities restricted and so many workers in that industry have had a difficult time navigating the crisis financially. So, as we thaw from winter and look forward to spring (with vaccines and hope for a return to normal on the horizon), we want to celebrate a restaurant rebirth. So, we're encouraging YOU to #EatLocal.
Starting Monday, March 1st (and running the entire month of March), we're rolling out our #EatLocal campaign that encourages our listeners, online community, friends and fans to support our local restaurants. And we're doing the same by offering local restaurants a FREE one-hour remote broadcast. That's a one-hour remote broadcast hosted by me, Angel, Barb Birgy or Dave Spencer. We can't wait to come hang out at your restaurant and broadcast live on WBKR,
If you are a restaurant owner and would like more information about this opportunity, all you have to do is email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be offering up to TEN broadcasts per week with a limit of one per restaurant. So, hurry! If our #WeLoveLocal campaign is any indication, the spots are going to fill up quickly. Just shoot me an email and I will hook you up wit Traci Davis, our Director of Sales, to get the ball rolling, get you complete details and get you booked.
#EatLocal is our way of using our talents and resources to give back to and celebrate our local restaurants with some TLC. Time. Love. Cuisine!
