The Price is Right Live Coming to the RiverPark Center Owensboro

When I was a kid, I was completely obsessed with The Price Is Right and that obsession has carried over into adulthood. A few years ago, my friend Traci and I had to go to Las Vegas for work and we went a couple of days early. On our list of things to do? The The Price Is Right Live! show at Bally's. It was awesome and I still have my official "price tag" name tag from the show.

A few years ago, I was able to see The Price Is Right Live again at the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro. Well, guess what? It's coming back!

The Price Is Right Live was initially supposed to visit the RiverPark Center in March. However, due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the event was pushed back to September. Well, I have big news to share! The new date is set. It's 7pm, Thursday, September 2nd!

Now, if you haven't had the chance to see The Price Is Right Live, it's a total must. I realize not every kid grew up watching game shows 24/7, but I certainly did. If you're a fan of this show, get a ticket and get ready. The stage version features some of the TV show's most popular games- Plinko (one of my all-time faves), Cliffhangers (I can still hum the theme song), The Big Wheel (have always wanted to spin that thing) and the Showcase!

As with the TV show hosted by Drew Carey , if you're in the audience, you could be called up as a contestant and "win a share of the more than $10 million in cash and prizes" up for grabs. In Vegas, you actually play, electronically from your seat, to try and get on stage. With the touring show, contestants are randomly selected from the audience, which means that you (Yes, YOU!) could be told to "Come on down!"

Tickets for The Price Is Right Live are on sale now at the RiverPark Center box office and via Ticketmaster. Tickets range from $19 to $53 (plus additional taxes and fees).
