EVSC, EPD, Local Mental Health Professionals Discuss Events Surrounding Central High School
Today at 2 PM, The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, Evansville Police Department, and local mental health professionals held a press conference. This morning, Central High School was closed because of threats on social media.
The threats come after recently withdrawn student, Roman Kellough apparently took his own life on the lawn of the school before school hours. Kellough was also found with weapons and ammunition. Roman's family has suggested that he was bullied quite extensively and that may have been a factor in his decisions on Tuesday morning.
