Friday Top 8 – The Affluenza Patient

Some of the events that occurred over the last few hours dealing with the "Affluent" teenager driving his pickup truck while drunk and killing 4 people, has sparked an insane amount of backlash and anger. Minus the handcuffs the picture pretty much lays down the story without the words.

The story is about a person that was drinking and abusing pills at a house. He then leaves with people in the bed of the truck later to hit and kill 4 people that were walking and inuring the people in the bed of the truck. The court date comes around and the Judge lets him off with a stiff warning and probation. You must be kidding. He got off because his parents were TOO RICH to teach him right and wrong. The judge actually said that was the reason. The kid apparently suffered from Affluenza which is defined as a psychological disorder that SUPPOSEDLY effects wealthy teenagers. When the definition says supposedly, I call B.S.. He was let off the hook for taking drugs, driving while intoxicated, killing 4 pedestrians and hurting the people that were in the back of his truck without restraint. Affluent or not, he's an idiot.

Glenn Beck tore into this story Friday Morning and explained it as a big slap in the face to anyone who has lost a loved one to a drunk driver. In today's top 8, it seems the only thing missing from the list of things we do wrong while drinking.... is driving. So I added it myself
