The rumors about a Golden Corral coming to Owensboro have been slowly picking up ever since Ryan's Buffet shut down on Goetz Dr in March. Now, the rumors are true.

According to this post on Owensboro and Daviess County Information's Facebook page, the company has picked and leased the "Ryan's Buffet Restaurant" location and they are hoping to have it completely renovated and open by the end of the year. The Messenger-Inquirer also confirmed the news.
