Goldie’s Right…Owensboro CAN Do Better Than This

Reading through my Facebook feed, I found a post from Goldie that reflects, EXACTLY, how I feel about something I see far too often in Owensboro.

And, really, this isn't the worst I've seen:

But it was just within the last week or so that I was behind a car whose driver unloaded a fast food sack and an empty drink can onto the street. It was over on West Parrish.

But really, the WHERE doesn't matter. I see litter on the streets everywhere I go.

None of us is EVER far away from a trash can.

Please find one and quit cleaning out your car on Owensboro's streets and parking lots.

And don't even get me started on the shoulders of the bypass.

I second Goldie's motion..."Come on Owensboro, we really CAN do better than this."
