Got Old Furniture or Appliances? Free Curbside Pick-Up Coming to Owensboro, Kentucky
The Sanitation Department with the City of Owensboro is making removal easy for household furniture, appliances, tires, mattresses, and more you need to dispose of. This is a free service that is offered to all residents within the city. We have your Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances schedule here.
It's time for spring clean-up. Do you have junk to dispose of lying around the house? Do you have old furniture you've wanted to get rid of and didn't know how? How about some old tires you have no use for? Are you tired of looking at the junk in your garage that's been there for years? I know the feeling. I'm glad the Owensboro Sanitation Department is there to help!
THE CITY OF OWENSBORO SPRING CLEAN-UP EVENT
Bulky items that are too large to be placed in your garbage tote will have a home now. The Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances has come together to offer this FREE service to the community.
Place items curbside by the Friday night before your scheduled cleanup. If you have large items, please call CityAction at 270-687-4444 or e-mail cityaction@owensboro.org BY THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE YOUR CLEANUP to schedule a pick-up. Smaller items must be bagged or boxed. Sanitation crews CANNOT collect construction debris/materials, yard waste, dirt, paint, or any type of liquid.
