You guys just might get tired of hearing me talk about fall. But, you know what? I'm probably going to keep doing it until it no longer makes any sense.

More so than ever before, at least for as long as I can remember, fall has landed hard in our lives and I love it. Seriously.

A couple of weeks ago, it was summer one day (temperatures up into the mid-80s) and autumn the next. And it's been that way ever since. It just makes me feel different.

And if ever there was a travel destination on this PLANET that was tailor-made for this time of the year, it's the Smoky Mountains.

There is SO much to do, you just have to take a week.

And if you do that between now and October 31st, get to Dollywood and enjoy Great Pumpkin Luminights.

There are thousands of jack-o-lanterns lighting ever corner and pathway, not to mention enormous, larger-than-life displays.

And on Dollywood's website, you'll get see samples of some of those creatively designed jack-o-lanterns, as well as the hauntingly lit Wildwood Tree, and the Frogs at Drop Line Pond.

Great Pumpkin Luminights is part of the annual Dollywood Harvest Festival, so there will so much more to see and hear, naturally.

The last time I was in Gatlinburg, it was during the fall. But I didn't get a chance to go to Dollywood because I came late in the week.

But that's my issue. If you love this season as much as I do--and ESPECIALLY Halloween--check this out.

And post pictures, too.
