How To Fix The Deficit Dilemna

When it comes to solving our Country's financial woes, everyone seems to have the perfect solution. Cut spending here, raise taxes there and the list goes on and on. Respondents to a recent 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll delivered some surprising results.As Yahoo News reports:

"Sixty-one percent of Americans polled would rather see taxes for the wealthy increased as a first step to tackling the deficit, the poll showed.

The next most popular way -- chosen by 20 percent -- was to cut defense spending."

Recently President Obama agreed to continue on with Bush era tax cuts that favored the wealthiest Americans and the middle-class. Is the poll as sign of things to come? What do you think about the recent extension of the tax cuts?
