The 2023 WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon gets underway Thursday, February 2nd and we're excited to rally the Tristate around the patients and mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
By becoming a St. Jude Partner in Hope, you basically pledge just $19 a month for 12 months on a debit or credit card. Some Partners choose to make a one-time donation of $228 (or more) and you're certainly welcome to do that too.
Also, if you are already a St. Jude Partner-in-Hope and you'd like to receive the 2023 t-shirt, simply call in during our fundraising event and "renew" your partnership. The operators will take your information and make certain you receive the new t-shirt.
2023 St. Jude continues their recent tradition of outfitting all St. Jude Partners in a brand new t-shirt. This is the 6th consecutive year of new t-shirts. The message on this year's shirt mirrors the message from the first t-shirt years ago.
It simply says, "This shirt saves lives." And, you know what? It does. I've been involved with St. Jude for twenty years and I have seen the miracles of the hospitals research and advances with my own eyes. I am proud to be a part of the St. Jude story and mission and you will be too.
As St. Jude founder, Danny Thomas, famously said, "No child should die in the dawn of life." So, become a St. Jude Partner-in-Hope and let's continue St. Jude's mission of making sure they don't.
