Meet Muddy a Sweet Pup who Loves Hugs is Looking for his Forever Home
This week's VHS pet of the week is a sweet boy named Muddy.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, in hopes of helping them find their forever homes. This week is a sweet shepherd boy named Muddy.
Meet Muddy
Muddy is a sweet shepherd mix who is looking for his forever home. Muddy loves hugs, and kids, and gets along well with other dogs. However, Muddy's only downfall is he doesn't like cats, so unfortunately for this sweet guy a home with cats is a no-go.
“This guy’s name already sounds like he belongs in a country song: Muddy! Muddy is a beautiful German Shepherd mix. He’s just over a year old and was surrendered due to landlord issues. He is a GREAT listener if you’ve got a treat and a kind word! Even though his first go-to is to greet you a big giant hug, he is already doing very well with “sit” and is a fast, treat-motivated learner. He also enjoys playing with other dogs. Unfortunately no kitties for Muddy, but he has lived with children previously and done well. His adoption fee is $200 and will include his neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and a starter bag of food to take home!”
