Many years ago, I relied on my husband to grill because I was a little apprehensive about using it. I was barely able to make box mac and cheese, so getting those perfect searing marks on steaks or chicken felt totally out of reach. But, if I waited on my husband to cook, let's just say I'd be a lot skinnier. So, I took the grill tongs by the handle and started small - with hot dogs. I quickly learned that my anxiety and worry were unwarranted. Grilling was pretty darn easy! Now, I LOVE grilling. 'WOK COOKING ON THE BIG GREEN EGG' COOKING CLASS INFO
Bassemiers Grill Supply Co. is hosting a “Wok Cooking on the Big Green Egg” cooking class on August 23, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In this class, Big Green Egg expert Chef Jeff Raymond will share some delicious recipes, tips, and tricks for using a Carbon Steel Wok. Tickets are $45 per person or $65 for a couple. Guests may arrive at 5 p.m. for an “Egg 101” walkthrough and any questions about Big Green Eggs.
The class is a demonstration only, and guests will enjoy andouille sausage with peppers & onions, smoked chicken & cheese potatoes, and popcorn. Tickets are available at bassemiers.com.
