Here’s a Harmless April Fools’ Prank to Pull on Your Kentucky Family
Are you looking for a good, easy, and innocent prank to play on your family today? It's super easy to do. Just have that camera ready! What's the best prank you've ever pulled?
Realistic right? I got my husband good with this prank! We went out to eat with friends and when we got home, I staged the scene of the prank. Hopefully, your family has a sense of humor like mine, or it may not go well. It's so easy that you can do it too.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE PRANK
First, find an image of a bug online. You could do it with a spider, or anything realistic that "could" be found in a home. Make it larger than normal, but not too big, so it stays realistic. Just enough to cause concern. Print it and then cut around it.
Now, it's time to "set the scene". Place the paper bug in the light fixture and if you can, "dim the light" for a better effect. Be sure it's dark outside/inside the house. Then wait for the perfect moment to give the best acting performance of your life!
HOW TO "SELL" THE PRANK
I waited until my husband was perfectly settled in his chair before I screamed, "What the heck is that?"
"Come quickly, Chris".
"There's a HUGE bug in the light fixture and I'm scared."
"I'm taking the dogs upstairs right now."
Again, you must put on an Oscar-winning performance.
"I mean, it's HUGE. Please hurry before it moves."
Chris came running. He grabbed a stool and a cup to trap it. He looked concerned and later told me he was nervous about what he was getting into. He slowly proceeded to get closer and closer. He covered it with the cup only to realize it wasn't real! The look on that man's face was priceless. Laughter ensued.
End Scene.
He's such a good sport! He has to be to live with me. Who's next?
