When it comes to spooky season, this Kentucky town has understood the assignment. The vibes are giving...

Cynthiana, Kentucky, goes all out with Harvest/Halloween decorations. Homes, businesses, parks, even doghouses are decked with witches, spiders, and jack-o-lanterns galore. Check out the Visit Cynthiana Instagram account, and you'll scroll through pictures and videos to prove why it is the number one fall destination in Kentucky.

Cynthiana, KY Skeleton Map

Along with ghost tours of their local haunts, an annual Spookeasy event, and Cemetery yoga, you can't miss the stars of the show. Hundreds of skeletons, big and small, take over for the skeleton decorating contest.  Folks compete to see who can come up with the best skeleton display. How fun is that? @BeforeTheCoffin recently shared this video on Facebook of the skeleton map featuring a few of the displays.

I've Planned Road Trips Around These Kentucky Locations

I love a good road trip, short or long. My explorations through Kentucky have led me to a variety of destinations. I've rounded up some of them for a road trip recommendation guide, if you will.
