GAME SHOW! An Owensboro College Celebrates Married Couples Who Met on Campus

Kentucky Wesleyan College is adding some spice to its upcoming Spring Reunion Weekend. On Friday, March 1st, the college is hosting its first ever Wesleyan Sweethearts Game Show, which will feature three different competing couples. Those three couples are comprised of people who all met their spouses on the campus of KWC.

The Wesleyan Sweethearts Game will take place on stage at the Jack T. Wells ’77 Activity Center (3300 Frederica Street) on the KWC Campus. Spring Reunion Weekend is sponsored by Ed Krahwinkel with Edward Jones. Ed knows a thing or two about Wesleyan Sweethearts as well. He and his wife Jodi met at KWC too back in the late 80s and early 90s.

The Wesleyan Sweethearts Game, hosted by yours truly, will consist of 3 rounds. Round 1 is already underway. Each of our couples is supporting Kentucky Wesleyan College, the school that ultimately brought them together, by fundraising for the Wesleyan Scholarship Fund. Each dollar they raise equals one point in the game. Vote HERE to help your favorite couple take the lead before the show even starts! The couple with the highest total points at the end of the game will be crowned the Ultimate Wesleyan Sweethearts. Rounds 2 and 3, of course, will take place Friday night.

Friday, March 1st happens to also be Day #1 of Owensboro Burger Week 2024 and KWC is celebrating with a Build-Your-Own-Burger-Bar from Hometown Roots in Henderson. Doors open at 5:30. Dinner gets underway at 6pm and the Wesleyan Sweethearts Game Show will start immediately following.
