Celebrate Disability Awareness Month with The Arc of Evansville: Raffles, Auctions, and Giveback Events

More than 27% of Indiana’s population includes adults and children with disabilities, and the Arc of Evansville works throughout the year to promote and protect the rights of individuals with disabilities and create opportunities for them to live, learn, and work as valued members of their communities.

March is Disability Awareness Month and our friends at the Arc of Evansville have lots of activities and events planned to help raise awareness and understanding of disability issues within our community. There is no shortage of opportunities for you to help support the Arc this month.

Barrel of Fun Raffle

"Barrel of Fun" is not a euphemism or play on words, it is a literal barrel full of "fun" high-end bourbons and whiskeys valued at over $1,600! This includes bottles of Proof and Wood Extraordinary American Blended Whiskey, Bardstown West Virginia Barrel Rye Whiskey, J. Mattingly Trail Blazer, and many more. Raffle tickets are $50 each and must be purchased by March 29th.

Online Auction

The Arc of Evansville is hosting an online auction from March 15-22. They have already collected a bunch of great items with even more coming in each day. When you check out the list of items, you'll notice there is something for everyone and every budget - from a $40 Hacienda gift card up to a $1,500 vacation.
