From 2010, when the support for a smoke free law was only at 28 percent in Kentucky, we've grown.  In 2011, almost a double in percentages were accounted for and we reached 54 percent.  Rising again for 2012 up to 59 percent and as for 2013 the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky released a poll this week indicating that 65 percent of Kentucky adults support statewide smoke free laws.

I moved to Owensboro early in 2013 and noticed something right off the bat.  Smoke Free laws had not yet been established.  Coming from Ohio, we were established as a smoke free state.  The entire state was subject to no smoke indoors whether they be restaurants or bars.  The majority of West Virginia was smoke free as well, counting out some of it's southern areas.
