Kentucky Fried Chicken has announced the return of the Kentucky Fried Chicken Nugget after the item disappeared from menus in 1996.

Kentucky Fried Chicken first introduced its chicken nugget to the menu in 1984, according to WHAS11.com. The tasty morsels of deep-fried goodness remained a favorite on the menu for more than a decade before reportedly being removed in 1996.

The new Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets are available at participating restaurants starting at just $3.49 (prices may vary by location) and come in 5, 8, 12, or 36-piece orders. You can also make your nuggets into a combo by adding fries, a drink, and a biscuit. They are also available in the KFC kid's meals too.
