Although summer doesn't officially start for another two weeks, oh who I am kidding, it's here! And who doesn't love ice cream?!? Did you know Kentucky has an ice cream trail? One of the stops is right here in Owensboro!

There are only six stops on the trail and Lic's on West Parrish Avenue is stop number four. The stop right before Lic's takes you right outside of Bowling Green to Chaney's Dairy Barn. I recommend the toasted coconut.

Other stops on the ice cream trail include: Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream in Lexington, 4 Generations in Stanford (Lincoln County), and two Louisville institutions, Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen, and The Comfy Cow.

Now I bet you can think of some other stops we can add to the trail, six is just not enough. What do you got?
