Mandy Jones was a boy momma first.  As a boy momma myself I can tell you there is something so special about little boys and the way they love their momma.

I was a single momma for many years and created special things for me and my boys to do together.  Mandy has started the very same thing about five years ago and it is such a fun idea.

Here's how it started;

I ran across the idea about 5 years ago. The boys were 4 and 7. They loved fun books and I was trying to get Kysen to read better. He absolutely hated to read lol but something about the excitement of tearing off the wrapping paper and having a surprise each night made them want to read. Plus it was an easy way to have some family time. I buy used books from 2nd and Charles and a few new ones too. I probably reused 12 this year. So it doesn’t have to be expensive. Just budget.

Mandy told me her boys are now older and her family has added a new addition, a precious little girl, Olivia, and this will be her first year joining in on the tradition.

Mandy says;

Pretty much now I look at it as 24 nights to cuddle. 24 nights of memories. 24 nights of I love Yous. 24 nights of anticipation and excitement. 24 nights of memories.  Plus who doesn’t love to unwrap presents!! It helps me slow down and enjoy my time with the kids. We are always on the run throughout the year and I love to make the Christmas season a little extra special.

Why It's Important To Start Christmas Traditions With Your Friends

When most people think of Christmas traditions they think of family. Friends are family too and creating lasting traditions with them is super important.

Kentucky Bakery Goes Viral After Posting Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cheesecake

One Kentucky Bakery recently broke the internet when they posted they were baking up Christmas Tree Cheesecakes for the holiday season. The post literally when viral within hours of hitting social media. I contacted the owners of The Cheesecake Fairy in Bardstown, Kentucky, and asked them all about their "sweet" baking success.
