Kentucky Soldier Saluting Passing Funeral Procession Yields Viral Photo
Erin Hester of Vine Grove, Kentucky must be a kindred spirit of mine. I never know what I'm going to run across that'll make me grab my camera and get a picture.
She was in the right place at the right time as a funeral procession passed by on a rainy Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle in front of her is a soldier and got out of his vehicle and stood and saluted the passing procession.
The image has gone viral.
Take a look:
Very moving.
Like Erin, I'm not sure if there's a rule about what the young man did, but I feel like he didn't need a rule in place to get him out of that vehicle.
Also, like Erin, It's always nice to see folks pull to the side when a funeral procession passes.
