Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Asking for Help from Ohio County Farmers
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking the assistance of farmers in Ohio County.
The KYTC is looking for input regarding a planned guardrail project.
There's about a mile and a half stretch of KY Hwy 69 that's long been in need of upgraded guardrails.
And now that the project has been contracted, the Cabinet is in need of information regarding turn width requirements along this stretch of 69 that runs between Centertown and Hartford between the intersection of KY 273 and a bridge over an unnamed stream which lies just west of Hartford's city limits.
The input from Ohio County farmers is of vital importance because they'll know better than anyone exactly how to make it less difficult for large farm machinery to access farmland.
If you're an Ohio County farmer or know an Ohio County farmer who can help out, contact the KYTC Owensboro Section Office at at (270) 926-7915 or contact Scott Phelps at Scott.Phelps@ky.gov within the next two weeks.
A map of the area in question is available on the KYTC's Facebook page.
