Kentucky Wesleyan College to Celebrate Student Achievements tomorrow with a series of events beginning with Honors Convocation at noon at Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church. Madison Silvert is the keynote speaker. He is Vice President of the Owensboro Greater Economic Development Corporation and Executive Director of the Emerging Ventures Center for Innovation. Silvert holds a degree in Economics from Centre College and his Juris Doctor from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where he received a special certification in regulatory law and policy. Scholars’ Day oral and poster presentations will take place from 2 – 5 p.m. in the Winchester Center and various locations around campus, and Student Life Awards will be presented at 5 p.m. in Tapscott Chapel. The day will end with the “88 Keys” Music Recital by piano students at 7:30 p.m. in Tapscott Chapel.
