Local Dancer Desperately Searching for Keepsake Ring Lost at Owensboro Restaurant
Abby Evans worked incredibly hard to get her 10-year ring at Musick Studios. Now, she and her family are working doubly hard to find it. And, they need your help.
Abby has been dancing with Musick Studios in downtown Owensboro for the last twelve years. Two years ago, she achieved an incredible and memorable milestone. She celebrated her 10-year mark with the dance company and celebrated by receiving her Musick Studios commemorative ring. Think of it as a Super Bowl ring for dancers. In Abby's mom's estimation, "It is a huge accomplishment."
Here's a pic of Abby receiving the ring from Lee Ann Musick.
Now Abby's mom (Alexandra Bivins) is praying for another big accomplishment- finding that ring. See, Abby thinks she lost it Saturday at the Real Hacienda restaurant here in Owensboro. In fact, she's praying that ring is found and is sharing the story and pics on social media to help rally the troops.
Alexandra says Abby wears the ring a lot and only took it off that day because her hand was swelling due to an injury. When Abby realized it was gone, she, naturally, was very upset.
Alexandra fears it was potentially swept up by the restaurant staff and thrown away, but it is hopeful somebody, somewhere found it. The ring actually has the name "Abby Evans" on it and, of course, the Musick Studios inscription as well. It will be very easily identified if someone happens across it
If you or someone you know found (or finds) the ring, Abby and her mom ask that you contact them through Facebook Messenger or take the ring to Musick Studios in downtown Owensboro.
