Miss Daviess County Pageant Now Accepting Contestants
The Daviess County Lions Club Fair Pageants are coming up in early July and entries are now being accepted for all of them. But, for the first time in pageant history, the Miss Daviess County Pageant will be an "open" pageant. That means contestants from neighboring counties will be allowed to compete for the title.
According to pageant director Bayli Boling, contestants from Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Ohio and McLean counties will be allowed to compete in Miss Daviess County this year. The registration fee is $50 and the winner will receive a 2-night hotel accommodations at the state competition, crown, sash, and more prizes to be announced soon!
The Miss Pre Teen Pageant and the Miss Teen Daviess County Pageant are open as well and are open to contestants from even more area counties. Interested contestants (8 to 12-years-old) from Daviess, McLean, Ohio, Hancock, Webster, Henderson, Union, Hopkins, and Muhlenburg county are encouraged to enter. The registration fee is $30. Miss Pre Teen is scheduled for Thursday, July 5th at 6pm.
For Miss Teen Daviess County, contestants (ages 13 to 15) from Daviess, McLean, Ohio, Hancock, Webster, Henderson, Union, Hopkins, and Muhlenburg counties are encouraged to apply and enter. The registration fee is $40. Miss Teen will take place at 6pm, Saturday, July 7th.
