According to Zack Albert with NASCAR.com, Nashville Superspeedway will reopen to host a NASCAR Cup Series race next season. Nashville is such a fun city and this will only add to that amazing energy. I don't follow NASCAR as much as I used to, but with racing this close, it would be worth the drive to see some of my favorite drivers take the track. Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman are two of my favorite drivers of all time. I smell pit passes!

Thanks to the collaboration of Dover Motorsports and our broadcast partners, we are excited to bring NASCAR racing back to Nashville, a place where the passion for our sport runs deep,” NASCAR President Steve Phelps said in a release. “The Nashville market is a vital one for our sport, and bringing NASCAR Cup Series racing to Nashville Superspeedway will be an integral building block in helping us further deliver on our promise in creating a dynamic schedule for 2021.

The Nashville Superspeedway race date has not yet been announced, but we will keep you posted. As always, you can listen to all NASCAR race coverage on 92.5 WBKR, sponsored by Southern Outdoors of Kentucky in Livermore.
