I love old schools. They have such rich history. Just think about all the thousands of people who have spent a great deal of time in them.

Now I do understand that many of them have needed an upgrade; there weren't too many USB ports in classroom walls in 1975.

And I do understand that constructing new buildings is just necessary from time to time. But many times, when a school does move into a new building, the old building remains only to be repurposed.

And many of Daviess County's old schools are still functioning just as they did when they went up decades ago.

I took a drive around the city and county and took a look at these schools. SOME still very closely resemble their original incarnations from 60 or even close to 100 years ago.

So finish your homework and let's take a look at these schools.
